I’m pleased to announce that my work, KowTow, received the Gold Award at this year’s Bulleye Emerge exhibition. I was excited to participate in Emerge this year because kiln cast glass was new territory for me in 2015; this honor was quite unexpected! I extend my thanks to studio assistant Anna Lehner for her help with this piece, as well as Sarah Archer and Cybele Malone for the opportunity to develop the body of work this piece came out of.

Urban Glass’s Hot Sheet wrote a nice piece on this news. Bullseye official Emerge site also has more information on this exhibition.
